It’s wild how over a few decades we collect some interesting stats of life. In this article I share a few of my favorite stats I’ve collected over the years.

9+ Years Remote Working

I’m old enough now to say that I was a remote worker before it was cool. It’s been almost a decade now and I’ve adapted to life as a remote worker.

It has it’s positives and negatives but hands-down it has provided me with the ability to be present for my young family during those sleepless years.

It’s unclear if the 100% remote work will last as I find myself interested in being back in the office SOME but not all the time. We’ll see.

Here’s what I think is imporant for being successful in remote work

  • Most Respectful Intent
  • Camera On by default
  • Over-communicate and show work in progress.
  • Dedciated space for work activities, if possible.
  • Noise Canceling Headphones :)

Lived in 3 States

It’s been a treat to live in multiple states and cultures as a result. I’ve called the following places home over the years.

  • Virginia
  • Massachusettes
  • Rhode Island

While it’s no fun to go to the DMV for each of these states, learning from the various people there was/is a blast.

To me, diversity is paramountn for enjoying a city. When there’s differences we get a change to learn from each other and experience seomthing new.

This is the lifeblood of life for me.

2 Kiddos under 10

Speaking of life blood, I have the privlege and work of being a father to two kiddos.

They are both under 10 so we’re in the thick of that run-here and there life going from practice to the next.

I love my kiddos and it’s so cool and humbling to learn from them. To see life from their perspective. It’s wild how many times i find myself challenged by their views.

I think that’s why they call is humbling to have kids.

11 Tattoos (& counting)

I’m addicted to them. I currentl have 11 tattoos ranging fro small to mid-size.

A few of my favorites

  • birthdates of my kids (very helpful!)
  • piece of pumpkin pie
  • mushroom-headed ghost

TBH, I’m not really sure why i like them…but i love the act of geting them. It’s theraputic to me. The most recent one was within the past 2 months and it was the mushoom-ghost.

What are your stats?

What fun stats have you collected over the years? I’d love to hear about them.

Hit me up with if you want.
